Staff Bios

Bonnie Walker (Studio Co-manager, Piano, Guitar) is a state and nationally certified piano teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education from East Carolina University. Bonnie co-ordinates the printed music department for Maus Piano Company.

Joy Martin
(Studio Co-manager, Piano) studied for 10 years at the Cadek Conservatory of Music, Chattanooga, TN.  She graduated with a Bachelor of music degree in organ from Wesleyan College, Macon, GA.  Joy currently serves as interim organist in local churches.

Rachel Beck
(Voice ) is an experienced vocalist, a member of the NC Master Chorale, and a church choir director.  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Meredith College and a Masters degree in voice performance and pedagogy from Brigham Young University.

Carole Nicholson
(Piano) is a state and nationally certified piano teacher.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wake Forest University and a master of Music in Piano from Millikin University. Carole enjoys playing piano for a local senior center.

Pat Anderson
( Piano, Voice) is an experienced piano teacher and K-8th grades music teacher.  She is an NC certified teacher and earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Pfeiffer University.  Pat also is the children’s choir director in a local church.

Brian Warring (Piano, Theory/Composition, Improvisation) Has been teaching piano for over 20 years.  With extensive experience in church music, Mr. Warring teaches the classical piano literature as well as improvisation.  He has served as an adjudicator for the National Guild of Piano Teachers for 6 years.  Mr. Warring hold a Bachelor of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and will earn a Masters in Theological Studies from Duke Divinity School in the spring 2010.

Amanda Stonehouse (Group Piano).  Amanda graduated from NCSU with a B. S. in Business Management.  She is a former piano student of Bonnie Walker.  Amanda secured her certification for teaching the Mayron Cole Piano Curriculum in 2010.

Dr. Nathaniel Eschler (Guitar, Theory, Composition, and Piano) studied guitar at the College of Charleston and Composition at Brandeis University in Boston.  His Guitar teachers have included Marc Regnier and Franc Koonce.
